Hi everyone,

My weight loss goal is to lose 100 lbs. I'm finding it especially hard because of the job I work at, Burger King, but am going to do my best to get my weight down. I want to live my life to the fullest! And being overweight is not helping! I would like to set my goals 10 lbs per month. This way it will help me. It think 10 lbs per month is reasonable and realistic. One of the things i'm going to start doing when I am up is walking around the neighborhood. Anyway, that is my goal.

Serenity

I started here back in 12/08.  My mother died 10 mos prior and I finally decided it was time to take care of me.  As of 10/26 I have lost 46 lbs, it has not been easy, but I am determined to do it for myself and my children so that I can be there for them..  I set goals in 5 lb increments.  Thanks for all the comments on here, it has been very helpful.

I started August 1st, after owning the Dr. Phil book for years... I FINALLY picked it up and READ it.
Im a 54 year old female with 300 to lose. No excuses for me, used them all. I finally decided to GET REAL. I have a very full life and find that its just too hard to keep up my pace. I will check back here often to get daily support... and will be happy to have anyone lean on me. We ARE family!

Hi.....  Is anyone out there who is over 55yrs and needs to lose 100lbs....  All I seem to find are younger people and I would like the support of someone in my age group. I need to lose 100lbs and I do have some medical issues which make it difficult to lose weight. I am currently going to Curves and am trying to stick to a diet. The only trouble is, I am having trouble choosing a diet plan that will work for me. Does anyone have any suggestions?  Good Luck to all of you on your weight loss journey.

I just signed up today, though I read the book a while ago, and I have 150 pounds to lose.  I would be happy to join you in your journey, and I hope we can encourage each other.

Hi,
The most recent post I can find is from  Sept,2008. Maybe the forums are messed up or I don't know how to get to most recent posts. I desperately need to lose 200 pounds and am restarting reading and applying the Ultimate Weight Loss Solution program today. Does anyone want to join me? We could help each other because as you know, it's almost impossible to really do the full program alone. Hope to hear from you soon!

Am 40 years old married female, weight 245!!  5'7 Height, I weighted average 180 pounds 6 years ago and really missing being fit and wear size 12!  I am still trying my best till date to lose the extra weight I gained after the birth of my two kids without success.  Really tried but no results but have hope in me that will reach my goal someday..  I know that my lifestyle isn't healthy like before but being a mom isn't easy and don't have time to pay attention to myself which means no results in the near time.  Am tired of the fluctuate mood am going through also not happy of what am in now but what should I do ..
