2013 Shows

(Original Air Date: 10/15/13) Three years ago, Glenn Lemoine’s body was found floating in a canal -- just miles away from his abandoned car -- and his death remains a mystery. His 11 children want answers -- and several of them are pointing fingers at their own family members. What do they think happened to their father? Denise, Amy and Bernadette say they suspect their mother, Ellen, and brother, Shawn, may be withholding information about their father’s death -- but why? Ellen and Shawn strongly deny having anything to do with Glenn’s death and say they’re willing to take polygraph tests to prove their innocence. What will the results reveal? Plus, Glenn’s body was exhumed for a second autopsy -- did the medical examiner find anything suspicious?

Find out what happened on the show.

I couldn't agree with you more. They wasted Dr. Phil's time. Time that he could have been using to help someone who really needs Dr. Phil's help.

I definitely agree with you on how they kept interrupting and talking all at once They were RUDE and INCONSIDERATE. They thought their information was more important than the person speaking. That ring leader even interrupted Dr. Phil when he tried to talk.

Grieving makes people do and say things that you wouldn't normally do sometimes,  but, I've never heard of it making a person accuse their mother and brother of murder or a cover-up. They got WAY carried away with everything. I mean, really, wanting to have his body in their hotel room???? Good grief!!

I'm really not sure that I could forgive my sibling if she accused me of murdering someone, especially with NO evidence whatsoever.

It does sound like a mafia-type murder. I was thinking that they cut off his hand because maybe he stole from them.

I was appalled by these girls. I understand grief can manifest itself in a number of ways, but accusing your mother and brother of killing your father is NOT normal. The daughters are histrionic and hysterical and in need of some serious counseling. If I were the brother (or even the mother), I would have a hard time getting past the murder accusations by my own flesh and blood.

Polygraphs are accurate no matter how long it is after the event. I think the polygrapyh expert has a LOT more experience than you. I didn't see anything smug about the brother at all. You're seeing things.

WHAT??? I didn't see anything in that post that made the person seem like he or she was living in another world. This person gave his or her opinion. After seeing what happened on the show, the 3 girls had better hope that the mother and brother will forgive them. I'm sure the mother will, but, it might be very hard for the brother. That's all this person was saying. Please explain why you think they're not living in the real world?

I read what the daughter said here and I don't see one shred of evidence for them to accuse their mother or their brother. She claims that they're such a close family. If they're such a close family then why did they accuse their own mother and brother in the first place? Close families don't accuse other family members of something so horrific.

I was ecstatic when the polygraph tests came in and proved that the mother and brother were telling the truth.. I just didn't feel that they were involved. I thought the sisters were rude and obnoxious with no basis for their accusations. They disgusted me almost right from the start.

They put their father on a pedestal and put down their mother. Their father had gambling and alcohol problems, as well as money problems. Their mother left him for a reason. It's so obvious that someone had it in for him, most likely about owing money.

How are these sisters ever going to have a normal relationship with their family members again after accusing two innocent family members of murder and a cover up? They're going to have to make up for what they've done to that family. Hopefully things will work out for everyone so that they can all be close again.

These are just my thoughts.  I do not believe the mother and the  son had anything to do with his death.  It was mentioned that he gambled a lot and owed people money.   Possibly, there was mafia or someone like them involved.  Who knows how much money he owed at the casino.  I think the fact that he had a hand amputated sounds definitely like a professional job.  I wonder where the three sisters got the idea that their mother and brother had anything to do with his death.

I wonder how much money the father actually owed to the casino or someone connected with the casino.

This show was pretty much a waste of time.  Those 3 sisters were talking all at once.   The lie detector test showed they answered honestly.  Then all of a sudden the three sisters were all kissy face with the mother.  I wonder where they got the idea the mother and brother had anything to do with their father's death.   How embarrassing to have this on TV.  The sisters had hardly any concrete evidence of the father's death.

But it sounds more like he may have been accosted by a stranger after he ran his car into a ditch.  My father also took care of everything before he passed away.  He also informed us of the details prior to having his will read to us by some notary after he died.  Unfortunately, he made changes while he was very ill from advanced Parkinson’s disease, which impacted my life a great deal, but I refused to allow myself to dishonor his memory by causing a fuss because of just money.  What was done was done.  My sister and her husband did everything they could during my father’s funeral to provoke me into many arguments, but I never gave them the satisfaction.  We will never speak again, but I’m still proud of being able to hold my head high and for maintaining my dignity.

I always wanted a big family.  Since we’re only two sisters and don’t get along, I figured that if I had more siblings I’d still be part of a family.  Those three sisters don’t know how lucky they are to have each other but by hurting the rest of their family, they are dishonoring their father’s memory.  I understand that they’re grieving, but I think that they went too far and ended up with serious egg on their faces.  They should be ashamed of trying to prevent their mother from paying her tax bill and for causing her so much worry.  They acted very selfishly and immaturely.  If one or more of them is actually the executor of their father’s estate and it can be proven that they’re not behaving in a mature and responsible fashion they risk losing everything to some court appointed bureaucrat, which could place the family in even more turmoil then they already have.
