When Alexandra, oldest daughter in the Dr. Phil Family, first appeared on Dr. Phil eight years ago, she was 15 and pregnant. Now 23, she has three children by three different fathers who are being raised by her parents, Erin and Marty, she is unemployed and living with the father of her third child. Her family and Dr. Phil believe she is addicted to prescription pills -- which she vehemently denies. Erin hasn’t seen Alexandra in more than two months. Find out what the grandmother learns that she finds appalling. Then, Alexandra comes face to face with two of the country’s leading spine specialists and hears their candid thoughts about her back injury and pill use. Will she agree with their assessment? And, Dr. Phil doesn’t mince words when he tells Alexandra his agenda and thoughts about her behavior. Plus, Erin and Marty say Alexandra didn’t see her children for 68 days and that they’ve spotted her truck in front of an alleged meth house. Is Alexandra in more danger than anyone could’ve imagined?

Find out what happened on the show.

I'm so tired of Alexandra. How many times have you had a show about this girl? She's an attention whore. She won't get better bc you give her attention for her bad behavior.

I've seen 2 shows with her and I won't watch another. That was enough. Yet, I know there were many more. Enough already. There are so many other people out there that need your help but instead you choose to help her instead, time and time agAin. It's disgusting. Get her off the tv. And I bet she'll smarten up once she realizes she's not getting any more attention for her behaviour.

Very well said!  I fully agree that Marty and Erin should have full custody of the three children that Alexandra produced; but for whom she takes not a shred of responsibility!

I hope that this woman stays off dope; but don't anyone hold their breath.  Alexandra has been fully happy in the life she has led.  And in no time at all (if not already) baby #4, by father #4, will be on the way!  Of course she will not have her tubes tied.  She knows that no matter how many children she pops out, her parents will take care of them all.  What would have done Alexandra a world of good years ago was to have her rear end kicked up over her head!  The same goes for her sister as well!

Dr. Phil, while I agree with most of what you have said to this family, you were totally wrong to bawl out Erin, who has done the best to her ability. I TOTALLY agree with other viewers who have pleaded with you to stop fooling with Alexandra and her sister.  They both just want to get all the $ they can from you.  By the way, the truck that you gave to Alexandra was most likely traded for drugs!  PLEASE, Dr. Phil, realize that you have done far more than enough for these people!

Hi Dr Phil

All this girl wants is money from you. I know you know this. She is the most stubborn and immature girl I have ever seen. I know you have come to love her and her family. We as fans have too. I am just at my wits end with Alex. She needs to grow up and unfortunatly tough love is what mom and dad need to do.
This will be hard but Erin and Marty, if you want change you too must change. You will have to get tough. That means no more helping her out... not even for food. She is old enough to be working, she is old enough to be on her own and she will just have to hit rock bottom ( again and again in this case). There is nothing anyone can do. Dr Phil you've done EVERY thing you can and I'm glad you've written her off. I can't even stand looking at her anymore.

To Erin and Marty... God bless you for taking in her children and looking after them ! What a labor of love. It's just too bad Alex doesn't see it. She is an ADDICT and needs help.
GET HELP ALEX and stop living in denial !! You should have taken Dr Phil up on his offer. It's too bad that drugs are more important than your children, family and most important YOU and your well being !!

All the best to Marty and Erin. I hope you are able to get full permanent custody of these children !!

Dee

Katrina has every right to be angry at her mom for not protecting her. I see myself in Marita totally. The great peace maker. CLASSIC adult child of an alcoholic's behavior. God bless and give peace to these girls.

Alexandra is an addict. Until she wants help and a better way of life this is all a mute point.  Dr. Phil- you have done ALL you can do. - Glad Erin is going for parental termination, those kids will be better off.
It has been so sad to watch over the last six years- those children will have abandonment issues because of their Mothers selfishness.  Good job- Dr. Phil, for cutting her off!!!!

Dr. Phil, you have gone above & beyond to help this girl & her entire family, but I think it is time to close the door on them.  You have offered them so much help, Alexandra has lied so many times, has made it clear she doesn't want her children, would rather do drugs.  She is a very self-centered girl, and I think she loves the attention you are giving her.  I think you should just say, I'm done, there are too many other families that need & want your help.  I for one am done watching your show when they are on -- they love being the attention.  You know we all have family problems.
