Unfortunately, this Valentine's Day, my husband and I will both be unemployed, but I'm hoping that I will at least get a card! I know that that doesn't sound like much, but you have to understand that my husband isn't the kind of guy who walks around on his knees professing his love for me or for our children. We just have to know that he loves us, and he really does. Anyway, I hope that we can at least afford to have dinner out. That would be really nice!!!
Unfortunately, I'm a hopeful romantic, always of dreaming how I would like to spend a valentine's day with someone I loved or cared so deeply for. However, the last time I had a boyfriend with more than three dates was when I was 25 years old, many, many moons ago. Im now 49 and still DO NOT have a boyfriend or date. Only, I must admit I feel the pain amost any day of the year, it doesn't have to be valentine's day. Actually, I would make it easy on my guy - by saying let's go out the next day or a couple of days later and celebrate. I think the business world capitalizes and takes so much advantage of ocassions like this. I sometimes thnk that my guy is out there somewhere also alone. How likely is that when statistics say there are seven woman for one man.................Oh well, I will celebrate with my dog and shower him with treats and toys. Oh Cupid pull back your bow and let it rip.
Today my boyfriend and I celebrated Love Day.. and it was definitely amazing!
Puppy cards were exchanged.. and I got him a new catfish/deep sea fishin pole.. and he got me my septum pierced :] We had such a nice dinner.. nice and simple **according to our lifestyle**.. we went and got a few tacos from the pizza joint on the corner.. watched Dr Phil family of course.. and ate Jalepeno Poppers til we were so stuffed we couldnt budge.. lol.
All in all it was a wondeful day.. and happy early Love Day to everyone out there!!
